CAFFE FURBO….A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT WHILE YOU ARE AT THE LESLIEVILLE FLEA IN THE DISTILLERY DISTRICT
For Kevin Bonnici, proprietor of Caffe Furbo, the Distillery District is not just a place of work; it’s where he lives too!
This eclectic eatery draws you in with its imposing ceiling of original yellow pine and large Douglas Fir beams, and captivates you with its chic Euro-Parisian ambience.
Kevin opened Caffe Furbo in January of 2011 and has since painstakingly detailed it to reflect the Distillery District’s unique, contemporary Victorian vibe. The food is simple but as he says “what we lack in quantity is well made up in value conscious quality. ”
Caffe Furbo is a minimalist sanctuary for traditional Italian coffee and exceptional european wines; scrumptious savory paninis, soups (fall & winter), exquisite wraps (spring & summer), and desserts; in the heart of Toronto’s Historic Distillery District.
Caffe Furbo is also available for unique, private functions and they enjoy collaborating with their clients to make any event as successful and enjoyable as it can be.
Caffe Furbo hosts and exhibits paintings and fine art photography. A man of many talents, Kevin Bonnici’s own works of art can often be found on display here.
Plan to drop by Caffe Furbo while you are visiting The Leslieville Flea on Sunday, February 23rd from 10am-5pm. Caffe Furbo is located just around the corner at 12 Case Goods Lane!
